Position Overview:
As a Senior Strategic Client Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Oracle's North American Application Sales team.

Your primary focus will be to engage with Oracle's most significant clients, providing expert guidance and insights on process improvements, capability enhancements, and technological advancements to align with their operational strategies.

Client Partners are instrumental in helping Oracle's clients navigate the intricate relationships within their organizations and the broader ecosystem of suppliers, partners, and service providers.

They deconstruct transformation opportunities into actionable, value-driven recommendations.

As trusted advisors, you will collaborate with customers, internal senior leadership, solution engineering teams, and partners to implement both long-term and short-term account strategies.


Key Qualifications:
  • Proven self-starter with a consultative approach and confidence in engaging with senior executives.
  • Extensive experience in delivering presentations to C-level audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of business processes across various functions, including finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, marketing, sales, and service.
  • Ability to assess current operational frameworks, envision future architectures, and devise a phased roadmap to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Expertise in business application solutions and transformational technologies.
  • Background in business process design and consulting is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience:
  • 5+ years in advisory roles, solution architecture, and value engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • 10+ years in enterprise business software (ERP, SCM, HCM, CX, PaaS, etc.).
  • Industry experience in retail, consumer packaged goods, or life sciences.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently, whether from a home office or while traveling.
  • Strategic mindset focused on outcomes.
  • Familiarity with architectural methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet ambitious goals and fulfill commitments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.

Core Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
  • Develop thought leadership and methodologies that articulate the necessity for change.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, customer strategies, and business objectives.
  • Establish trusted advisor status by comprehensively understanding client businesses and co-developing strategic initiatives.
  • Engage in value-based selling and articulate compelling value propositions.
  • Identify client challenges and opportunities, architecting solutions utilizing the Oracle portfolio.
  • Act as an advocate for Oracle solutions, technology, and digital transformation strategies.
  • Stay informed on product and technical advancements within the Oracle portfolio.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of Cloud technology and its economic advantages.
  • Lead discussions centered on strategic value rather than mere features.
  • Coordinate large, multi-product initiatives and innovate solutions to address gaps in Oracle offerings.
  • Collaborate with implementation partners to co-develop a roadmap to value.

Sales Collaboration:
  • Identify key opportunities within accounts and drive programs with strong value propositions.
  • Lead discussions with clients to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Influence partners to prioritize Oracle solutions in their offerings.
  • Work closely with Account Directors to develop deal economics linked to business benefits.
  • Facilitate communication among relevant subject matter experts as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on account planning and strategies for success.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to execute winning strategies.
  • Enhance win rates, deal sizes, and generate new revenue streams.
  • Drive expansion initiatives within existing customer accounts.

Advocacy:
  • Identify and communicate gaps in Oracle solutions to Product Development.
  • Promote thought leadership tools and methodologies within the team and across Oracle.
  • Develop positioning for cross-product solutions.
