About the Role:

The Strategic Relationship Manager is a key professional who closely follows the latest trends in the field of corporate banking and adapts them for application within the business. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to deepen their understanding of their needs and expectations.
  • Introduce solutions to clients to build and strengthen an effective portfolio.
  • Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' individual needs.
  • Work closely with case managers to onboard and retain clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
  • Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence.
  • Drive innovation in the solutions provided to clients and further develop the business where necessary.
  • Execute strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels.
  • Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.
  • Administrate the credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate banking.
  • FINRA Licensing, Series 79, 63 & SIE (current or able to obtain upon hire).
  • Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes.
  • Demonstrates intermediate to advanced credit skills.
  • Demonstrates an expert level of Early Warning Detection skills.
  • Demonstrates expert level credit skills.
  • Demonstrates advanced Citigroup credit-process and credit-appetite knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while making sound decisions.
  • Highly focused, able to rapidly identify key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities.
  • Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business.

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred.
