Production Manager

Skydance Animation is seeking a highly skilled ShotGrid Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing ShotGrid, our production management tool, to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient workflow across our feature animation projects.
Responsibilities:- Manage ShotGrid requests from production and supervisors, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of production needs.
- Collaborate with the Production Technology team to develop and implement standardized workflows and best practices for ShotGrid.
- Work closely with film production teams and studio management to develop and maintain ShotGrid fields and templates for tracking and reporting.
- Create high-level views of data for forecasting and reporting, and provide data insights to production teams and studio leadership.
- Document new features and maintain existing documentation for production workflows as they relate to ShotGrid.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ShotGrid in VFX/animation production, and provide expert guidance to production teams.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to ensure all team members are proficient with ShotGrid, enhancing overall team capability and project execution.
- Actively engage in cross-departmental communications to understand the full scope of production needs and optimize ShotGrid to meet those demands.
- BA/BS preferred, with a solid understanding of feature film production workflows.
- 5 years of management experience in a feature or TV animation workflow, with direct experience influencing ShotGrid adoption, modification, and implementation.
- Strong computer skills, including ShotGrid, Excel, and MS Office.
- Experience with ShotGrid API for custom tool development is a plus.
- Demonstrated superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
