Customer Service Ambassador

At Planet Fitness Inc., we are committed to providing a positive member experience by delivering exceptional customer service. As a Member Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our members feel welcome and supported throughout their fitness journey.
Key Responsibilities- Greet members, prospective members, and guests with a friendly smile and provide personalized attention to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle front desk activities efficiently, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Take prospective members on tours, showcasing our facilities and services, and highlighting the benefits of joining our Judgement Free Zone.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts, respond to questions and concerns, and escalate issues to Assistant Managers or Managers as needed.
- A customer service background is preferred, but not required. We value individuals who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- BASIC computer proficiency is essential for navigating our systems and software.
- A passion for fitness and health is a must, as you will be inspiring and motivating our members to reach their goals.
- Punctuality and reliability are non-negotiable; you will be expected to maintain a high level of attendance and adhere to our scheduling requirements.
- You will possess exceptional customer service skills, able to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
- A strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem-solve is crucial in this role.
- Diplomacy and discretion are essential when interacting with members and colleagues.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Continual standing and walking during your shift is required.
- Continual talking in person or on the phone is an essential aspect of this role.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
- Exposure to toxic chemicals may occur occasionally.
