About the RoleThis is an hourly paid position based in Newark, NJ, with a competitive rate of $16.50 per hour. As a Customer Experience Associate I, you will be part of a dedicated team that supports clients' customers as a first point of contact, answering calls, providing product information, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries related to tolling and administration, utilizing knowledge learned during training and leveraging resources available through people, customer records, and knowledge management systems.
- Identify customer needs to ensure they receive complete and accurate information, processing required transactions via mainframe or web-based applications.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of company and client programs, policies, and technology, communicating effectively in a warm and empathetic manner.
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements and laws, ensuring information is disseminated only to authorized individuals, and provide support to other positions/operations during heavy workloads or absences.
- You must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to submit to a background check and drug test.
- The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and customer service experience.
- You should be able to navigate multiple applications and research solutions with ease, be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies, and thrive in a structured environment.
- Flexibility and ability to commit to 100% attendance for three to five weeks of paid training are essential.
