Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Assist in the development and oversight of the life enrichment program, including planning and coordinating opportunities for residents that promote a high level of health, wellbeing, engagement, and growth.
  • Community Engagement: Plan, schedule, and lead community activities programs, holiday celebrations, and special events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Resident Support: Introduce new residents and their families to the community's life enrichment programs, ensuring a smooth transition and a sense of belonging.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Contribute to resident assessments by assisting in completing or ensuring completion of Life Stories, and maintaining accurate records of resident activity attendance and family messaging.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Ensure effective communication with community staff, residents, and families regarding resident care, encompassing physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Drive community bus for outings and appointments as needed, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of residents.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • License and Certification: License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment, CPR or BLS certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, and Fire Fox), Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and any HR-related systems if applicable.
