Job Overview

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The primary aim of this position is to support local and regional clients within a designated radius, leveraging the capabilities of North American Signs' Regional Services Division. This role encompasses overseeing sign projects from the initial stages through to completion and installation. It requires a commitment to ongoing learning and adherence to established protocols and company standards. The position necessitates a physical presence on-site and is not designed for remote work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage directly with regional clients to propose solutions that comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Draft and present customer proposals for approval.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including customers, installers, designers, and general contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Verify the accuracy of all documentation required for sign completion.
  • Manage production timelines, shipping schedules, and installation dates to align with customer expectations.
  • Maintain communication with the Director of Regional Services to address customer concerns and uphold high satisfaction levels.
  • Contribute to achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and service offerings.
  • Efficiently handle purchase orders, work orders, and service requests.
  • Secure all necessary municipal approvals, permits, inspections, and follow-ups prior to project initiation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all job-related documentation, including invoicing.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Ability to interpret blueprints and a solid understanding of construction terminology and processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Familiarity with the Sandler sales system is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in the sign industry is advantageous.
  • Quick learner, able to navigate proprietary software efficiently.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of budget management or a willingness to learn.
  • A college degree is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role may involve the following physical requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and using hands for various tasks.
  • Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Lifting and/or carrying up to 30 lbs on occasion.
  • Specific vision capabilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Good hand-eye coordination for tasks such as typing while on calls.
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain and construction sites while maintaining balance.
