dynamic Senior Telecommunications Project Manager for a client based in Alaska.

This role will primarily be remote; however, travel within Alaska will be necessary.

Often, this travel will involve visiting remote locations via helicopter and small aircraft.

Position Summary:

The Telecommunications Construction Manager will collaborate closely with the Company's OSP division. They will oversee multiple network expansion construction initiatives, managing daily operations and customer relations while ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. A comprehensive understanding of system design and intricate network architecture is highly advantageous for this position. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess critical problem-solving abilities to make swift decisions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Oversee various network expansion construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. Field Operations: Manage daily construction field operations, providing technical guidance and quality assurance. Customer Relations: Foster customer relations, ensuring satisfaction and promptly addressing any concerns. Productivity Tracking: Implement and assess company tracking methods to measure productivity and project advancement. Technical Oversight: Comprehend and manage telecommunication construction operations, including electronic and telephony equipment. Cable Identification: Recognize various types of cables and wires, understanding industry-standard color codes. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring cohesive project execution. Team Coordination: Align team objectives and protocols with company strategy. Fiber Network Expansion: Execute and deliver multiple fiber construction projects, emphasizing aggressive network expansion. Budget Management: Adhere to budgetary constraints, monitor expenses, and report as necessary. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with regional utilities and local and state governments. Documentation: Maintain accurate plant records and as-built documentation upon project completion. Continuous Learning: Engage in educational and networking opportunities to stay informed on network operations and technological advancements.
