Your Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing projects while providing guidance to project teams to ensure alignment with customer specifications, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that customer specifications, objectives, timelines, and budgets are adhered to.
- Collaborating with customers to formulate a project plan, define the scope of work, and establish a project schedule for a comprehensive understanding of outcome goals.
- Reviewing and generating CAD layouts to guarantee appropriate dimensions, materials, equipment, and services are allocated and accurately budgeted at the project's outset.
- Participating in the project's Kick-Off Meeting and facilitating discussions regarding the documentation of specifications and drawings to ensure project goals are clearly understood.
- Creating and maintaining project databases and documentation using software applications and project documentation tools, including project/program manuals, specifications, meeting minutes, progress reports, transmittals, resource assignment databases, process flow diagrams, and project close-out documents, as necessary for effective project execution.
- Communicating and providing progress reports, cost assessments, and other supporting documentation to ensure specifications and expenses remain within established guidelines.
- Reviewing and managing project invoicing, including timesheets, resource and material allocations, expenses, and accounts receivable collections to ensure proper billing processes are followed and budgets are maintained.
- Regularly liaising with customers to provide updates on progress, exchange ideas, address inquiries, and meet customer expectations.
- Conducting onsite project meetings with general contractors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure specifications, timelines, and budgets are met.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Industrial Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressive project management experience in commercial or residential construction, sheet metal, roofing, masonry, or a similar field.
- Certifications: Not applicable.
- Functional Skills: Strong project management, process planning, analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to multitask with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong resource management, P&L accountability, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products; experience with Edge or similar project/costing software for estimating is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting information and interacting effectively with all organizational levels and diverse cultures.

Additional Information:
Compensation: Approximately $80,000 - $100,000 based on proven expertise, plus bonuses based on project success and a company vehicle.
- Compensation will increase as the business grows.
Reports To: President
Core Hours: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm or 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (some flexibility available)
Typical Work Week: Monday to Friday; average hours per week
Direct Reports: None
Travel Requirements: 10-30% local/regional travel to oversee projects and meet with customers is necessary.
Work Environment: Primarily in a standard office setting with moderate noise; suitable Personal Protective Equipment may be required while visiting clients.
COVID Protocol: No special protocols; individuals may wear masks if desired.
