Job Overview

The Community Manager is a key role at Northwood Ravin, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our luxury apartment community. This individual will be accountable for ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards, while also driving revenue growth and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial goals and statements, and operate the property in the best interest of the owner. Maintain accurate records of all community transactions and submit documentation on a timely basis.
  • Leasing: Ensure the property is rented to sustainable capacity while growing revenue. Utilize marketing strategies to attract prospective residents and confirm that leasing staff techniques are effective in securing closings.
  • Administrative: Prepare and implement procedures to ensure an orderly and efficient workflow. Confirm all leases and corresponding paperwork are completed and input to the leasing management software system accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Resident Retention: Respond to resident concerns and requests on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction with management. Develop and implement resident retention programs to promote a positive community environment.
  • Personnel Management: Consistently use successful techniques and company directives to screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel. Ensure efficiency of staff through ongoing training, instruction, counseling, and leadership.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Degree or equivalent
  • Experience: 3+ years experience as a Community Manager and/or related experience
  • Certifications: Must obtain the Fair Housing certification within 30 days of hire and prior to interaction with prospects or residents
  • Skills: Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite, and community software applications
