The Community Association Manager is a critical role within our organization, serving as a key liaison between our company and the Homeowners Associations we serve. This position requires a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with HOA Board Members, as well as a deep understanding of community management principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Communication Management
- Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and present monthly management reports to the Board of Directors, highlighting key issues and recommendations for improvement.
- Meeting Management
- Coordinate and attend Board meetings, annual meetings, and special meetings, ensuring compliance with governing documents and financial reporting requirements.
- Finance Management
- Prepare and present annual budgets to the Board of Directors, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Documentation Management
- Assist in the process of amending association governing documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Vendor Management
- Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with budget and financial reporting requirements.
- Solicit bids for maintenance and construction projects, participating in the selection of contractors and vendors.
- Project Management
- Work with the Board of Directors to determine long-term needs and priorities for capital improvements and infrastructure projects.
- Incident Management
- Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, ensuring compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance Management
- Monitor and ensure compliance with association rules and regulations, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to community sites, attend meetings, and work flexible hours as needed.
