Job Description

The Community Association Manager is a critical role within our organization, serving as a key liaison between our company and the Homeowners Associations we serve. This position requires a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with HOA Board Members, as well as a deep understanding of community management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication Management
    • Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Prepare and present monthly management reports to the Board of Directors, highlighting key issues and recommendations for improvement.
  • Meeting Management
    • Coordinate and attend Board meetings, annual meetings, and special meetings, ensuring compliance with governing documents and financial reporting requirements.
  • Finance Management
    • Prepare and present annual budgets to the Board of Directors, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Documentation Management
    • Assist in the process of amending association governing documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Vendor Management
    • Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with budget and financial reporting requirements.
    • Solicit bids for maintenance and construction projects, participating in the selection of contractors and vendors.
  • Project Management
    • Work with the Board of Directors to determine long-term needs and priorities for capital improvements and infrastructure projects.
  • Incident Management
    • Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, ensuring compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Management
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with association rules and regulations, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent time management and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to community sites, attend meetings, and work flexible hours as needed.
