Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Management: Oversee all aspects of the facility, including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of employees, including Operations Associates, Drivers, and Administrative Coordinators, to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service through order fulfillment and problem resolution.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement effective coaching methods to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Manage expense-based profit and loss statements to plan and drive efficiencies within the facility using LEAN methodologies.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure preventative maintenance of the facility and all equipment, including material handling equipment, wire cutting machines, racking systems, and warehouse infrastructure.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with sales professionals and leadership to ensure alignment with market strategy and accurately set customer expectations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other support departments, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources, and Finance, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years' operations experience, specifically in distribution center facilities preferred.
  • Skills: Experience managing a group or team of individual contributors and/or indirectly supervising support staff; knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Power Point.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to effectively communicate in both group and individual settings; capable of handling multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency; ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
