Healthcare Operations Director

This position is responsible for the operational, financial, and quality performance of assigned departments at Renown Health. The successful candidate will support organizational leaders in delivering quality care and services in a cost-effective manner.
The Administrative Director will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives at both the divisional and system levels. This includes developing, enhancing, integrating, and optimizing the patient experience from a service delivery and patient product perspective.
Strong partnership and effective communication with physicians and staff are essential for success in this role. The incumbent will work collaboratively with Acute leadership to ensure that physician services meet programming and clinical quality expectations.
The Administrative Director will address and resolve issues related to practice operations within established budgets and policies. Key initiatives for success include optimizing clinical and business performance, managing projects, and working on complex cross-functional issues.
Financial Management:
The successful candidate will provide monthly financial and operational performance improvement reports to leadership. They will develop and implement annual budgets, provide projections and department analysis, and evaluate and make tactical changes to ensure optimal provider performance.
Human Resource Management:
The Administrative Director will develop and implement operational and personnel changes to improve performance. They will provide effective leadership for providers, support staff, and ancillary services.
Business and Clinical Operations:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of value-driven compensation and the impact of clinical operations on risk-based reimbursement arrangements. They will demonstrate exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, resulting in proven relationship building capability.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, with an MHA or MBA preferred. The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in managing and leading groups, preferably in a healthcare environment. Prior experience with project management and EPIC is highly preferred.
