Position Title: Concrete Project Management Specialist

Overview:
This role is pivotal as the primary leader overseeing concrete construction projects. The responsibilities encompass the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, procurement, compliance with contracts, and ensuring safety standards are met. The specialist will also manage daily progress, oversee invoicing, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and execute contracts and project scopes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on-site.
  • Analyze job costs and estimates for accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and sequences.
  • Track project quantities and progress diligently.
  • Prepare and present job cost reports.
  • Approve invoices and manage coding.
  • Procure necessary materials and equipment.
  • Issue and track change order requests.
  • Estimate pricing for change orders.
  • Facilitate coordination with general contractors and owners.
  • Work closely with operations managers to allocate resources effectively.
  • Provide mentorship to project engineers.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a flexible approach.
  • Experience in project setup, budgeting, and cost reporting.
  • Knowledge of critical path scheduling.
  • Proven track record in leading successful project teams.
  • Highly motivated with a sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
