Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team at ADAPT Community Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incident data, tracking incidents, and providing support to our operations and management staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend Incident Review Committee Meetings and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in collecting and completing required paperwork and preparing incident packages for review.
  • Update and maintain the OPWDD IRMA Incident Database to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Monitor the database for information requests from OPWDD and facilitate a prompt response.
  • Prepare and distribute Incident Review Committee meeting minutes and updates.
  • Track open incidents and assist in submitting and data entering corrective action plans.
  • Interface with OPWDD incident management staff as needed to resolve incidents.
  • Review weekly medical reports to ensure all incidents have been reported.
  • Assist in collecting and organizing statistical information related to incident reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in agency-selected software programs and email systems.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and contribute to a positive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field.
  • 1 year of comparable experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
