About the Role

AEG is seeking a highly skilled Event Security Supervisor to join our team at the CFG Bank Arena. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, tenants, and patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Event Day Security Staff: Lead and manage a team of security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests.
  • Assist with Scheduling and Deployment: Collaborate with the Security Manager to schedule and deploy staff on event days, ensuring adequate coverage and resources.
  • Oversee Event Day Security Operations: Monitor and oversee the activities of event day security staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure job requirements are met.
  • Enforce Security Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all security staff are aware of and adhere to AEG's security policies and procedures, including incident response protocols.
  • Work with Director of Security: Collaborate with the Director of Security to improve and refine the security program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Assist with Hiring and Training: Assist with the hiring and training of event day security staff, ensuring that all new hires are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for all guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Maintain a Safe and Secure Environment: Monitor and patrol areas of the arena, ensuring that all guests and staff are safe and secure.
  • Assist with Special Needs and Wheelchair Access: Provide assistance to guests with special needs or wheelchair access, ensuring that they have a positive and inclusive experience.
  • Resolve Guest Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Enforce Building Policies and Event Procedures: Ensure that all guests and staff are aware of and adhere to AEG's building policies and event procedures.
  • Maintain Order and Ensure Crowd Safety: Monitor and control crowd behavior, ensuring that all guests are safe and secure.
  • Assist and Direct Guests: Assist and direct guests in a variety of situations, including emergencies.
  • Perform Wanding and Monitor Entry: Perform wanding of patrons and monitor entry through metal detectors, ensuring that all guests are screened and secure.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and efficiently with co-workers and supervisors, ensuring that all information is shared and understood.
  • Follow Incident Procedure Protocols: Follow all incident procedure protocols and documentation, ensuring that all incidents are properly reported and addressed.
Requirements
  • Experience in Event Security: A minimum of 2 years of experience in event security, with a proven track record of ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff.
  • Leadership and Management Experience: Previous experience in leadership and management, with the ability to supervise and manage a team of security personnel.
  • Deep Understanding of Security and Safety Principles: A deep understanding of security and safety principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to Work Flexible Shifts: Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedule.
  • Ability to Follow Instructions and Communicate Effectively: Ability to follow oral and written instructions, and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
