ROLE OVERVIEW

The Event Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in orchestrating various regional, OEM, Dealer, and tournament event schedules, logistics, and display setups. This position also involves supporting the demo boat program, ensuring a seamless operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish, maintain, and disseminate a comprehensive regional event calendar.
  • Uphold the Seakeeper brand's reputation by ensuring high-quality representation at events nationwide.
  • Oversee the approval, booking, negotiation, and contracting of booth spaces to secure optimal placements at events.
  • Manage the execution of regional events, which includes:
    • Coordinating all show orders, shipping logistics, and travel arrangements related to events.
    • Supervising on-site booth management before, during, and after events, including vendor negotiations and service contracts to ensure booths are ready and dismantled efficiently.
    • Engaging with external partners to guarantee that events and sponsorship elements align with brand objectives.
    • Tracking and ordering marketing materials for each event.
    • Overseeing lead collection during events, ensuring the availability of appropriate materials, and communicating leads to relevant teams post-event.
  • Manage the storage, inventory, shipping, and logistics of Seakeeper's display materials across the country.
  • Monitor and adhere to event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Develop new display equipment and materials as needed.
  • Submit expense reports and purchase orders through the designated financial system.
  • Ensure all events align with company and sales strategies, providing constructive feedback when necessary.
  • Maintain an updated Display Assets list to track the location of each unit during events.

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST-HAVES:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in event coordination.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally, with availability for some weekends and evenings; a valid passport is required.
  • Exemplary professionalism, responsiveness, resourcefulness, and flexibility, coupled with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Adept at collaborating with multiple teams, both internally and externally.
  • Experience in project management, capable of juggling various projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
  • Self-motivated with strong integrity and superior time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient problem solver who takes pride in delivering quality work.

NICE-TO-HAVES:

  • Experience in the marine industry or a passion for boating.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Wrike.
  • Experience with lead generation tools like Lead Liaison.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Northeast region. You will report to the Event Manager.
