About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Security Officer to join our team at Battle Tested Security LLC. As an Event Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of event patrons, staff, and performers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Securing stage barricades to provide a safe working area for artists and event staff
  • Securing entry points, conducting bag checks, and performing entry screenings to ensure no unauthorized items or persons enter the venue
  • Patrolling assigned areas to ensure attendee safety and prevent theft/damage to infrastructure
  • Providing exceptional customer service by interacting with patrons and answering questions
  • Ensuring the safety of patrons by monitoring for dehydration, and by identifying and addressing possible altercations before they occur
  • Handling patron interactions with empathy, enforcing policies with a professional and calm attitude
  • Collaborating with law enforcement and medical services to resolve any critical safety issues
Requirements
  • Meet the requirements and be able to obtain a Maryland Guard Card
  • Good judgment, strong observational skills, and ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
