Key Responsibilities:

The Program Manager is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive activities of designated programs throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to contract specifications regarding cost, schedule, and performance in line with the latest Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) protocols.

This role involves directing resources to facilitate marketing proposals and the introduction of new programs, with an emphasis on delivering products that align with requirements, timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. The Program Manager will also manage after-market products and swiftly address any in-service challenges.

Core Duties Include:
  • Supporting marketing initiatives by contributing to the program management section of proposals.
  • Post-contract award, collaborating with marketing to devise plans and strategies for securing follow-on business.
  • Acting as the primary representative and customer liaison for all assigned programs.
  • Identifying and securing program team members in coordination with Division and Functional Leaders.
  • Overseeing all aspects of assigned programs, aligning with management's objectives, goals, and funding requirements. The incumbent will develop and manage the Program Management Plan, ensuring integration of Technical, Commercial, and Supply Chain activities into a Master Program Schedule.
  • Maintaining a risk management framework to identify, prioritize, and address risks and issues with defined mitigation strategies.
  • Allocating and managing funds while preparing reports to track actual versus budgeted expenditures. Continuous monitoring of program status and performance through review meetings, reports, and presentations to management and clients.
  • Participating in the resolution of technical and commercial in-service challenges, particularly those involving customer interactions and relationships.
  • Executing special assignments as directed.
Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in engineering or a related technical field.

Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is essential.

Skills:
  • This role encompasses both administrative and technical responsibilities.
  • Experience in project engineering, manufacturing, and scheduling is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and activities effectively.
  • Strong motivational and communication skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in PC applications, including MS Project and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
