In this role, you will plan and supervise a team, monitoring their progress and implementing corrective measures when necessary. It is essential to ensure that risks are effectively identified and mitigated to prevent them from escalating into issues. A robust risk management process is vital for the success of any project.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial practical experience in project management, particularly in the context of manufacturing-related projects.
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of project and program management methodologies and techniques.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with automotive and/or aerospace fixtures is required.
- Familiarity with machining, tool fabrication, welding, and CMM processes, especially concerning timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Comprehension of the broader objectives of the program.
- Ability to devise innovative solutions to challenges.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required, with the capacity to adapt to varying workloads.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals involved in program management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation practices.
- Strong negotiation capabilities.
- Experience in leading or participating in manufacturing projects.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in estimating is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project is advantageous.
