Job Overview

SEBCO is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Senior Community Support Specialist to contribute 35 hours weekly. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Senior Citizen Community services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and currency of member records, registration, intake, and consent forms.
  • Provide guidance on entitlements or refer clients to qualified professionals.
  • Conduct in-office assessments and follow-ups with clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of entitlements, programs, and procedures.
  • Keep member files updated, including registration, intake, waivers, and consent forms.
  • Document all client interactions meticulously.
  • Oversee the Telephone Reassurance service and its volunteers.
  • Coordinate and manage telephone reassurance schedules.
  • Compile and maintain documentation for Case Assistance and Telephone Reassurance.
  • Ensure STARS client data profiles are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Facilitate membership registrations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A., B.S.W.) or equivalent experience is required.
