About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Major Account Executive to join our team at Spectrum Enterprise. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with government and education organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture new sales and upsell to existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within named accounts
  • Consult with prospective clients to understand their technology needs and develop product solutions
  • Navigate government and education procurement processes to set up successful sales
  • Develop and present proposals and presentations to clients
  • Qualify new leads and request site surveys to determine building serviceability
Requirements
  • Three or more years of outside telecommunications-related sales experience
  • Five or more years of B2B sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Networking building, negotiation, cold-calling, closing, and English communication skills
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to conduct consultative analyses and provide recommendations
  • Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in data, voice, cloud, video solutions, or premise-based sales
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience working with state and local government or education organizations
