Job Overview

The Event Catering Associate plays a crucial role in assisting the event operations team to ensure the seamless execution of catering services and events. This position involves supporting event setup, transporting necessary equipment, food, and supplies to designated locations, serving guests during events, and managing post-event cleanup.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this role is set at $22.00, subject to variations based on factors such as the applicant's skills, qualifications, relevant degrees and certifications, prior experience, market data, and other pertinent elements. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable. This represents Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

If selected, the employee will hold an 'at-will position,' and Aramark reserves the right to adjust base salary and any other discretionary compensation at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to individual performance, departmental performance, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare catering and event services according to client specifications and banquet event orders.
  • Transport and deliver catering food and beverages along with all essential supplies and equipment.
  • Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines, and other event equipment as outlined in the banquet event order.
  • Replenish food and beverage items during events to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of food service areas throughout events.
  • Collect and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service.
  • Disassemble and tidy the area following the conclusion of events, returning equipment to proper storage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all attendees.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience in catering is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Compliance with the required dress code is mandatory.
  • Availability to work flexible hours based on event schedules is essential.
  • Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required.

This position may involve physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
