Job Overview
The Event Catering Associate plays a vital role in assisting the event operations team to ensure the seamless execution of catering services and events. This position involves setting up events, transporting necessary equipment, food, and supplies, serving guests, and performing cleanup duties post-event.
COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this role is set at $22.00, contingent upon various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, and market conditions. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable. This represents Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.
If selected, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and Aramark retains the right to adjust base salary and other compensation elements at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to individual performance, departmental performance, and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare catering and event services in accordance with client specifications and event orders.
- Transport and deliver catering food and beverages along with essential supplies and equipment.
- Set up seating arrangements, buffet lines, and other event-related equipment as specified in the event order.
- Restock food and beverage items during events as necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of food service areas throughout the event.
- Collect and clean up food and beverage items following service.
- Dismantle and tidy up the area after events, returning equipment to proper storage.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all attendees.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- Experience in catering is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Compliance with the designated dress code is required.
- Availability to work flexible hours based on event schedules.
- Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as mandated.
This position may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
