We are in search of a motivated and skilled Catering Manager to oversee our operations at a distinguished venue. In this capacity, you will manage events, ensuring that each guest enjoys a dining experience that reflects the venue's prestige.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of catering events.
- Engage in catering operations, focusing on logistics, quality enhancement, sanitation, and facility management.
- Collaborate with culinary staff to design innovative menus.
- Train catering personnel in service standards, menu display, and customer engagement.
- Monitor and manage labor and food costs for each event.
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members to maintain strong relationships.
- Assist in managing all foodservice-related tasks.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Minimum of 2 years in food service, including at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Experience in diverse settings such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or related food service environments.
- Prior catering experience is essential.
- Familiarity with food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
- Strong financial, budgeting, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite.
- ServSafe Certification is required.
