Georgetown University seeks a highly skilled and organized individual to serve as the Director of Operations for the Women's Lacrosse program. Located in the nation's capital, our university offers a unique blend of academic rigor, global perspective, and commitment to social justice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate team travel, including transportation, off-site practices, and meals, while assisting with on-campus official and unofficial visits.
  • Oversee the budget, assist with video operations, hire and manage student managers, and assist with game scheduling and video responsibilities.
  • Manage team apparel and equipment, organize and monitor inventory, in conjunction with the Director of Equipment and Transportation.
  • Serve as the men's lacrosse liaison to the Academic Resource Center and academic advisor assigned to women's lacrosse.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified, preferably at a college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, as well as athletics recruitment methods and techniques.
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate an ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and be insurable.
  • Proficient in computer use and relevant Microsoft applications.
  • Available weekends and evenings for extensive travel.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
