Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to psychiatric patients.
  • Monitor patients' behavior and report any concerns or deviations from their care plan to licensed professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by following established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: Health or mental health care experience preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certificate in mental health technology or related field (e.g., licensed nursing assistant) preferred; BLS Certification through American Heart Association; completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification within 1 month of hire.
  • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and observation skills; ability to remain calm and think effectively in high-stress situations; strong verbal and written communication skills; moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
