Psychological Care Worker

At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician - Psychiatric Services to join our team in the Psychiatric Services Inpatient Unit. This per diem position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.
About the Role
- This position is responsible for assisting in the treatment and care of psychiatric patients under the supervision of providers, leadership, or RNs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various duties to assist in the treatment and care of psychiatric patients, including reporting patient care observations and deviations from patient plans under direct supervision.
Requirements
- A Certificate in mental health technology or a related field, such as a licensed nursing assistant, is preferred.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association is required within one month of hire.
- Completion of an endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification is also required.
Competitive Benefits
- We offer a competitive salary range of $17.29 - $25.66 per hour, with additional differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
