Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Psihciatric Care Specialist to join our team. As an Emergency Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of psychiatric patients of all age groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide basic and supportive care to patients under the direction of professional clinical staff.
- Monitor patients with identified risks and apply mitigating strategies to maintain a safe environment.
- Engage in general department functions to support the overall operations of the Emergency Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or college level work in psychology or human services field preferred.
- Prior Healthcare, Mental Health, Security, or Public Service experience preferred.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association required within 3 months of hire.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $21.93 per hour, based on industry standards and location. The pay range is $17.29 - $25.66 per hour.
