Core Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot Automatic Transfer Switches, engine/generator controls, and excitation systems.
  • Conduct quality preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on power generation units, including diesel and/or natural gas engines, and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) as scheduled.
  • Engage with sales, operations, and clients regarding service and service contract details, pricing, terms, and applicable policies.
  • Address inquiries related to new contract obligations and modifications.
  • Accurately prepare, promote, and finalize general and engineering quotes as required for the customer base.
  • Comply with company safety protocols and other policies and procedures.
  • Act with integrity and deliver exceptional service to clients and colleagues, fostering a culture of teamwork and positivity.
  • Report any violations or non-compliance with company policies and procedures by Prime Power Services employees or other personnel, including subcontractors.
  • Interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics, and procedural manuals.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in the power generation sector.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must maintain a driving record with no felony convictions and fewer than three (3) moving violations.
  • Pass a criminal background check and mandatory drug screening.
  • Must be willing to receive a Covid-19 vaccination.
