Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues with Automatic Transfer Switches, engine/generator controls, and excitation systems.
- Perform quality preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on power generation units, including diesel and natural gas engines, as well as Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) as scheduled.
- Engage with sales, operations, and clients regarding service agreements, pricing, terms, and relevant policies.
- Address inquiries related to new contract obligations and modifications.
- Accurately prepare and submit general and engineering quotes as required for the customer base.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and other policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate integrity and provide exceptional service to clients and colleagues, fostering a culture of teamwork and positivity.
- Report any violations or non-compliance with company policies by employees or subcontractors.
- Interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics, and procedural manuals.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the power generation industry.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- A clean driving record with no felony convictions and fewer than three (3) moving violations.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and mandatory drug screening.
- Willingness to receive a Covid-19 vaccination.
