Job Overview:

As a permanent Field Service Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced, high-tech machinery. This full-time role involves significant fieldwork and provides the opportunity to work with some of the most sophisticated CNC machinery in the industry. The position is both challenging and rewarding, offering a unique chance to enhance your technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair Siemens and Fanuc CNC machines.
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting to clients, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent machine failures.
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades, along with routine maintenance tasks.
  • Offer training and support to clients on machine operation and maintenance.
  • Create and maintain service reports detailing all service activities performed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while executing service tasks.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Siemens and Fanuc CNC machines.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of explaining complex technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • A degree in a relevant technical field is preferred but not mandatory.
