Core Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose issues with Automatic Transfer Switches, engine/generator controls, and excitation systems.
  • Perform quality preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on power generation units, including diesel and natural gas engines, and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) as scheduled.
  • Engage with sales, operations, and clients regarding service agreements, pricing, terms, and applicable policies.
  • Address inquiries related to new contract obligations and modifications.
  • Accurately prepare and submit general and engineering quotes as required for the customer base.
  • Comply with company safety protocols and other policies and procedures.
  • Act with integrity, delivering exceptional service to clients and colleagues, fostering a culture of teamwork and positivity.
  • Report any violations or non-compliance with company policies by employees or subcontractors.
  • Interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics, and procedural manuals.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the power generation sector.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • A clean driving record with no felony convictions and fewer than three (3) moving violations is required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and mandatory drug screening.
  • Willingness to receive a Covid-19 vaccination is necessary.
