Responsibilities

  • Addressing inquiries related to billing and collection processes in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Interacting with patients and callers to resolve hospital and physician billing questions.
  • Utilizing knowledge of various insurance payers to assist patients effectively.
  • Understanding the implications of denials on patient benefit and coverage plans.

Job Requirements
Applicants should possess:

  • A high school diploma.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a hospital or physician setting.
  • Experience in patient accounting, medical billing, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications
An associate's degree is preferred.
