Kettering Health seeks a skilled Patient Accounts Representative to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for daily billing functions, including working claim edits, reviewing insurance claims for accuracy, and contacting parties for further information on unpaid claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of the Patient Accounts Manager or Supervisor to ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • Review and resolve claim edits to allow for timely claim submission.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve issues resulting in non-payment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in patient billing.
  • Epic experience a plus.
