Job Summary

Hilltop Holdings, a leading diversified financial holding company, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Travel Manager to oversee all aspects of corporate travel, meetings, and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to create, update, and maintain travel policies, ensuring compliance and standardization of related processes.
  • Supplier Management: Act as primary contact with corporate travel agencies and other travel-related suppliers, negotiating contracts and improving supplier relationships.
  • Card Program Management: Oversee the Hilltop Corporate Card Program, including card issuance, reconciliation, and adherence to policy.
  • Cost Reduction Strategies: Develop and implement key corporate card program strategies and efficiency improvements, achieving cost reduction targets and identifying new cost reduction opportunities.
  • Communication and Education: Establish a communication strategy to manage demand/spend, educating employees on cost avoidance and increasing savings.
  • Meeting and Event Management: Manage and drive meeting and event technology and governance, interacting with corporate and line of business event teams and suppliers.
  • Travel Category Procurement: Lead travel category procurement activity and sourcing for travel and meeting and event suppliers, including RFPs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct quarterly review meetings with key stakeholders to review key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor submission of monthly savings reports.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Ability to commute to the Republic Center in Dallas without relocation assistance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively challenging professional experience in travel program management, with financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of travel management and supporting tools, metrics, and leading practices.
  • Experience with Concur software platform required.
  • Strong management, marketing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
