Our client is a leading provider of Building Automation/Controls, Mechanical Services, and Projects. They specialize in various HVAC sectors, including General HVAC, Industrial / Process HVAC, Hospital / Healthcare HVAC, Financial institution HVAC, Data Center HVAC, and Public / Private Education markets. Their expertise lies in helping clients optimize the cost and performance of their HVAC and BAS systems within mission-critical environments.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Account Executive to drive new business growth throughout North Carolina. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying their MEP needs, and ensuring they receive exceptional customer service from our diverse MEP departments.

  • Develop Strategic Relationships: Cultivate deep understanding of client's market position, products/services, competitive landscape, and unique requirements.
  • Project Management & Client Communication: Effectively manage customer input and feedback for all projects, providing detailed direction and timelines to ensure successful execution.
  • Proposal Development & Win Strategy: Lead the development and submission of compelling RFP proposals, driving successful outcomes and securing new business opportunities.
  • Orchestrate Seamless Delivery: Facilitate project execution as a strategic orchestrator, ensuring we deliver on our promises and exceed client expectations.
  • Network & Build Influence: Establish and nurture strong working relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within client organizations. Actively participate in industry events to expand your network and generate new leads.
  • Market Expertise & Client Engagement: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the energy efficiency market. Proactively engage with clients, identifying new opportunities and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
  • Collaborative Persuasion: Influence client decisions by providing insightful guidance and demonstrating the financial and non-financial impact of their choices on their organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven sales success within the Industrial, Construction / Service industry (MEP).
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and building a strong book of business.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders at all levels.
  • Salesforce experience is highly preferred.
