About the Role

We are seeking a General Merchandise Expert to join our team. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, observing and understanding their needs, and engaging with them in a genuine way. You will also be knowledgeable about our products and services, and be able to solve issues for our guests and improve their experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming experience for our guests by authentically greeting them and engaging with them in a genuine way.
  • Observe and understand the needs of our guests, and be able to solve issues for them and improve their experience.
  • Be knowledgeable about our products and services, and be able to answer questions and provide recommendations to our guests.
  • Ensure that the sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed and priced for our guests.
  • Execute inbound, replenishment, backroom, and signing processes for General Merchandise areas.
  • Operate power equipment safely and efficiently, and follow all safety procedures.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

  • A welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
