Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Customer Experience Manager to join our team at Express. As a Sales and Customer Experience Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales team to achieve sales goals and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Lead and motivate sales team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
- Partner with store management to provide feedback on sales team performance
- Assist in training sales team on store operations, product, policy, and procedures
- Execute action plans to optimize sales results
- Ensure appropriate sales team coverage to create a great customer experience
- Oversee and authorize the checkout experience
- Assist with merchandise flow, such as shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations
- Monitor and analyze customer service provided by sales team
- Build an effective schedule with the right sales team member in the right place at the right time
- Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences
- Effectively resolve customer service issues to a positive outcome
- Lead and model our customer experience model
- Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs
- Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, and signage placement
Requirements
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Years of Experience: 1
- Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
- Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours
- Meets physical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors
- Demonstrated sales accountability
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once
