Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Customer Experience Manager to join our team at Express. As a Sales and Customer Experience Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales team to achieve sales goals and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate sales team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Partner with store management to provide feedback on sales team performance
  • Assist in training sales team on store operations, product, policy, and procedures
  • Execute action plans to optimize sales results
  • Ensure appropriate sales team coverage to create a great customer experience
  • Oversee and authorize the checkout experience
  • Assist with merchandise flow, such as shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations
  • Monitor and analyze customer service provided by sales team
  • Build an effective schedule with the right sales team member in the right place at the right time
  • Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences
  • Effectively resolve customer service issues to a positive outcome
  • Lead and model our customer experience model
  • Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs
  • Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, and signage placement

Requirements

  • Education: High School or Equivalent
  • Years of Experience: 1
  • Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
  • Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours
  • Meets physical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors
  • Demonstrated sales accountability
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once
