Chief Development Officer

Join KIPP Massachusetts Public Charter Schools as we seek a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising efforts. This is a critical role that will play a key part in driving our organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Donor Acquisition: Identify and cultivate new donors and supporters for KIPP MA's work in Massachusetts, including researching new prospects, crafting engagement plans, and building relationships.
  • Major Gifts: Secure significant gifts for both the Annual Fund and Campaigns, and cultivate champions for KIPP MA and our students and families.
  • Donor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, including tracking and observing all prospect contact and engagement.
  • Development Strategy: Work with the Executive Director and other senior leaders to develop and execute the regional fundraising strategy, including aligning fundraising priorities with key organizational priorities.
  • External Relations: Serve as a liaison and point of contact for all external stakeholders, including donors, foundations, legislatures, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor engagement.
  • Strong relationships with donors, foundations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
