The Chief Financial Officer is a highly visible leadership position for an experienced professional with proven success in the healthcare sector leading the financial operations of a fast-paced, multifaceted organization with complex administrative, operational and service demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Element Care's financial stability and position the organization for future growth and success.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term financial plans and goals in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Lead a department of 32 staff in the functional areas of Accounting & Reporting, Claims Processing & Analytics, Contracting & Legal/Compliance, Facilities and Plan Eligibility.
  • Provide financial guidance and expertise to the Executive Leadership team on all financial matters and strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, CEO, and other senior leaders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated executive leadership experience in healthcare finance preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Financial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to successfully manage teams.
  • Knowledge and experience with healthcare on both the provider and payer side preferred.
  • PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) experience is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
