Regional Infusion Center Manager - Nurse Practitioner

As a vital part of the Elevance Health family, Paragon Healthcare has dedicated over two decades to delivering essential infusible and injectable therapies through our specialty pharmacies and infusion centers.

Position Overview:

The District Manager is accountable for the oversight and administration of infusion facilities within the designated region, ensuring the quality and safety of patient care while managing the operational flow of infusion suites and providing patient services within the scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assigns responsibilities and patient care tasks to relevant staff across facilities as needed.
  • Enhances the relationship between staff and the organization, serving as the primary liaison.
  • Manages the operations of multiple infusion centers.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies, INS standards, OSHA regulations, and state nursing laws.
  • Trains and supervises center leadership personnel.
  • Facilitates effective communication between senior management and center directors.
  • Conducts regular visits to infusion clinics within the district to uphold Paragon’s culture and compliance.
  • Addresses clinical concerns raised by staff to promote safe and effective patient care.
  • Assists center directors with staffing schedules and operational needs.
  • Aids in the execution of specific action plans for various projects.
  • Guarantees that all federal, state, and local infusion therapy standards are upheld through training and competency assessments.
  • Supports effective communication between patients and the organization, documenting feedback and requests.
  • Complies with all relevant laws and regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating the performance of direct reports.
  • May require travel to various work sites as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a management role, or a combination of education and experience that provides a comparable background.
  • A current, active, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state(s).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in infusion therapy.
  • Proficiency in IV insertion.
  • Experience with Denovo practices is preferred.
  • Management experience in multi-site centers is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within a three-hour radius.
  • Availability for out-of-state travel as needed for training is highly preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience managing a team of 16 to 40 employees.

For roles within Paragon and Carelon Health, successful completion of a Tuberculosis test is required, along with either the Hepatitis B vaccine or a signed waiver.
