The Regional Operations Engineer will be an integral member of a team focused on the development, implementation, and optimization of the Labor Management System (LMS) within the logistics sector.

This role involves collaboration with site teams to facilitate the effective utilization of the Labor Management System (LMS) across regional distribution centers.

As a subject matter expert (SME) in the Labor Management System (LMS) and engineering practices, the Regional Operations Engineer will provide essential support to site teams.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Offering guidance on the operation and sustainability of the LMS at various sites.
  • Assisting in the advancement and enhancement of the LMS throughout the organization.
  • Driving productivity and financial improvements through the LMS.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Providing engineering support as needed.

Additional Information:
Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Travel Requirement: 50%

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting site teams in the operation and sustainability of the LMS.
  • Contributing to the LMS growth through quarterly standard review processes.
  • Participating in the development of the LMS by modeling new functions and upgrading existing ones.
  • Utilizing engineered data, time studies, and historical performance metrics to identify operational opportunities.
  • Developing and enhancing LMS training materials for all levels of site teams.
  • Leading strategic continuous improvement projects related to the LMS.
  • Collaborating with the Data Analytics team to create reporting and analytical tools.
  • Guiding IT teams in the development and troubleshooting of LMS-related tools.
  • Providing front-line support for LMS end-user tools.
  • Contributing to strategic projects within the LMS and engineering domains.
  • Staying informed about the latest advancements in industrial engineering within the logistics industry.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment work visa status.
  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of an Industrial Engineering degree.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations.
  • Experience with Tableau for at least two (2) years.
