Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Cleveland Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, while also leading and developing our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and leadership to nursing staff in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Identify and address staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage and resource allocation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technology and equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies.
Requirements
  • Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master in Nursing (MN) from an accredited program required within 2 years of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
  • Certification in a specialty clinical area or leadership required within 2 years of hire date.
  • BLS required; ALS & PALS may be required based on area's requirements.
