Position Summary:

The Administrative Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering various essential clerical tasks within a behavioral health outpatient environment.

Work Hours:
Hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends, based on clinic operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Function in a dynamic setting that necessitates multitasking and exceptional customer service & interpersonal abilities to warmly welcome clients & visitors.
  • Manage incoming calls
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling
  • Confirm insurance details and collect co-payments
  • Perform data entry tasks
  • Scan and upload information into the electronic records system.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns
  • Participate in agency meetings and fulfill mandatory training requirements.
  • Monitor vital signs
  • Secure prior authorization for medical services or prescriptions
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED along with one year of general office or administrative experience.

  • Experience in a medical or behavioral health office setting.
