The University of Georgia is seeking an experienced Outreach Administrative Assistant to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outreach Program. This role will be responsible for managing registration and billing, maintaining records, planning special events, and promoting the program through various channels.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day transactions, communications, and traffic for all outreach programs.
- Maintain all registration records, program for minors forms, scheduling, payments, etc.
- Plan and coordinate special events, including room reservations and promotion through traditional and social media channels.
- Assist with daily operations, arising situations, and matters as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical knowledge in the field obtained through a 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations within an academic environment.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Quickbooks, and Adobe programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high demand.
This position requires the ability to sit/stand for extended periods and may involve driving. A credit check will be required for all positions with financial responsibilities.
