Job Summary

The University of Georgia is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to the Georgia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, assisting with day-to-day operations, logistical planning, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative functions, including office operations, logistical planning, and compliance procedures.
  • Assist with fiscal and human resources management, including budgeting and expense reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the Unit Leader and faculty members.
  • Develop and maintain records, reports, and databases.
  • Coordinate travel and reimbursement for Unit personnel and guests.
  • Oversee scheduling of Unit resources and facilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of Adobe programs.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Light office work.
Working Conditions

This is a non-exempt position that requires occasional travel and work outside of regular business hours.
