Position Overview: Events Coordinator at CARFAX

As an Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations team by planning and executing various meetings, events, and conferences for our Dealer Business Unit. This position emphasizes teamwork and in-person collaboration, requiring a presence in the office for four days a week, subject to future business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the research and selection of venues, including contract negotiations, budget management, and logistical arrangements.
  • Help create and manage cost-effective meetings and events that exceed expectations.
  • Oversee daily event budgets and manage vendor schedules and billing.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for meetings and events.
  • Manage attendee registrations, room blocks, and reporting to vendors.
  • Distribute post-event surveys and analyze feedback.
  • Perform additional duties as required, aligned with the role.
Qualifications:
  • Willingness to work in the office four days a week.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Innovative and creative approach to achieving event goals.
  • Proficient in creating effective messaging for event materials.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Travel Management Software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while exercising good judgment.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in event coordination or planning.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
