What You Will Do
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team, managing food production, and ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency in all dishes. Your expertise will be essential in creating new menus, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and implementing innovative cooking techniques. You will also be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, training new employees, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
The following are some of the key responsibilities of this role:
  1. Manage food production, ensuring high-quality and consistent dishes.
  2. Lead the culinary team, providing guidance and support to kitchen staff.
  3. Create new menus, source high-quality ingredients, and implement innovative cooking techniques.
  4. Supervise kitchen staff, train new employees, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  5. Maintain accurate records of food inventory, supplies, and waste.
  6. Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualities:
  1. Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with kitchen staff, management, and suppliers.
  3. Expert knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredient sourcing, and menu planning.
  4. Experience in managing kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  5. A strong focus on quality, safety, and hygiene, with a commitment to maintaining high standards in the kitchen.
  6. Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
