Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to lead our Financial Accounting function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the day-to-day financial and accounting operations, ensuring sound financial management and internal control practices.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop an in-depth understanding of our business model, partner and employee compensation structure, and client payment history.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting staff, fostering a culture of inclusion and cohesion.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting, to inform business decisions.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Partner effectively across departments, initiating collaboration and driving business outcomes.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, with a CPA and/or Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10+ years of progressive financial accounting experience, preferably in a professional services organization with billable hours.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills, technical proficiency in learning new software, and strong written and oral communication skills.
